That traffic in DC near the Pentagon was ridiculous. Not to mention the driver stayed in the lane everyone had to merge into, so we got no where fast. If they had stopped in Alexandria, it would have cut at least an hour off the drive. And the best part, the driver says "I'm not sure where I'm going" when we were past the Pentagon, so I took out my brand new GPS and told her where to go. All of us on the bus were just itching to get the hell off, was not going to chance her getting us lost. So, a 2 hour train ride turned into a 4.25 hour bus ride from hell. Didn't get to rent my car since they were closed, luckily my parents are nice enough to drive me around and let me use their car tomorrow. Didn't get to meet my good friend for dinner, but we have a back-up plan for tomorrow. Still was super lame.
In other news, I got this e-mail from Dennis's camp yesterday, kind of interesting. If you want to read the full articles, there is a link there. Well, I'm tired as shit. I'm real glad I'm off tomorrow!
Articles of Impeachment
Dear Friend:
Under circumstances that can best be described as "suspicious," the www.kucinich.us website was crippled early this morning a few hours after Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced 35 extensively documented Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush.
Until we can restore the website and implement additional security measures, you can find the full list and detailed Articles at
http://www.democrats.com/files
and http://chun.afterdowningstreet
If you would like to show your support for the Congressman's efforts, please go to myinfo.kucinich.us to offer your comments and provide us with contact information so that we can continue to keep you informed.
Thank you
Committee to Re-Elect Congressman Kucinich
